Privacy notice for this website
This notice covers the website you are reading. Each product has its own privacy notice inside the product, because each handles far more of your data than this site does.
What this site collects
Nothing, until you write to us. There are no analytics scripts, advertising tags, or cookies of any kind on this site (see the cookie policy). The server keeps ordinary access logs (the address your request came from, the page requested, and the time) for a short period to keep the site running and to spot abuse.
The contact form
When you send a message we store your name, email address, the business name if you gave one, the product you asked about, your message, and the time it arrived. We read messages from that store. We use this only to reply to you and to follow up on what you asked. We keep messages for as long as the conversation is live and for up to two years afterwards, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your messages sooner at any time.
The "Is AI worth it?" questionnaire
When you answer the questionnaire we store your name, email address, phone number if you gave one, the business name if you gave one, what the business does, its size, how its books are kept, the hours and hourly value you entered, anything you wrote about your biggest headache, and the time it arrived. The answer page is kept at a private address made of random characters, which is not listed anywhere and which search engines are told not to index; anyone who has that address can read the answer, so share it only with people you want to see it. We read the answers from that store. We use them to send you the answer and, if you asked for a call or wrote to us, to follow up once. Kept and deleted on the same terms as contact messages.
Who sees it
The people at Cavendish Ltd who answer enquiries. We do not sell, rent, or share your details with anyone else, and we do not use them for marketing lists you did not ask to join.
Where it is kept
On the server that runs this website, which is hosted by Fly.io in a data centre in Dallas, Texas, USA at the time of writing. Email, when enabled, passes through the mail provider we use for our own correspondence.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Write to tate.marshall.0919@gmail.com. Depending on where you live you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
