A steward who waits for your yes.

Cavendish is an assistant that a small business gets its own copy of. Tell it things by voice, WhatsApp, or email: it keeps the books, files the receipts and bills, keeps the customer book, and finds new clients. Anything that sends or spends is read back first.

Say to Cavendish

Cavendish reads back: A business meal, $42.50, today, Chipotle, purpose “lunch with a client”. It will go in the ledger under meals, half deductible. Shall I record it?

You say yes, and it is in the books. Say anything else and nothing is recorded.

Cavendish reads back: To Jen at Old Town Property Management, subject “Invoice for 12 Netherfield Lane”: “Hi Jen, the invoice for the water heater is ready and attached. Thanks, Dana.” Send it?

Only your next message can send it. “Make it shorter” gets a new draft, read back again.

Cavendish reads back: There are two Office Depot entries for $84.00 on March 9. I would delete the second one and keep the first, with the receipt attached. Delete it?

A deletion happens only on your own next message saying yes. An email or a web page can never ask for one.

YesOnly your next message can say it. That rule is held in the code, not in instructions.

The home page of a private copy: what needs attention, follow-ups due, bills due, prospects, and which connections are set up.

It keeps the books, the receipts, and the customers.

Say an expense and it is in the ledger with the tax line it feeds. Send a photo of a receipt and it is filed with the expense. Ask who to follow up with this week and it reads the customer book back to you.

Each business gets its own copy, on its own server with its own memory, mailbox, and keys. Nothing is shared with another business, or with us.

Every expense knows its tax line.

Cavendish Ledger is the part of Cavendish that keeps the books. It maps every transaction to the line of the US federal return it feeds, shows your estimated tax any day you ask, plans the quarterly payments, bills your clients, and at year end produces the package your preparer works from.

Use it by telling Cavendish, or on its own in a browser.

A brokerage’s whole day in one place.

Pemberley is for residential real estate brokerages: contacts and follow-ups, listings and buyer deals, every contract deadline, the compliance checklist for each stage, and the calculators an agent reaches for every day.

And when none of those fits exactly.

We also build to order: AI set up around one business’s own jobs, tools, and rules, and the know-how to run it. Each engagement is scoped and priced on its own, and you have the figure in writing before you decide.

  • A copy of Cavendish taught your trade, with your own rules about what it may do by itself.
  • One job done by software, the task that eats your evenings.
  • Your tools talking to each other, so a thing typed once is typed once.

Is AI worth it for your business yet?

Eight questions, two minutes, and an answer worked out from your own numbers: what office work costs you a year, what software of this kind usually gives back, and whether it is worth your while. It says “not yet” when that is the truth.

How we work

Every figure is traceable.

Estimates show the line, the rule, and the source. Nothing is a black box.

Read-only by design.

Bank and brokerage connections can look, never move money. The permissions that could are never requested.

Your data is yours.

One database per customer. Export everything at any time. We do not sell or share it.

Plain language.

No jargon in the software, and none in our answers to you.
