Why we exist

Most small businesses run their finances on a spreadsheet, a shoebox of receipts, and a yearly scramble. The software sold to them is either built for accountants, with their vocabulary, or built for consumers, with no idea what Schedule C is.

We build for the owner. Our tools speak plainly, show the rule behind every number, and never ask for more access to your money than the job needs.

What we hold ourselves to

• Show the working. A tax estimate names the line and the rule. A calculator names its inputs. If we cannot explain a figure, we do not show it.
• Never move money. Bank and brokerage links are read-only, enforced in the code and covered by tests, so the software has no way to pay or trade at all.
• Estimates, honestly labelled. Our software prepares worksheets and estimates for you or your professional to verify. It does not file returns and does not give legal or financial advice.
• Your data stays yours. One database per customer, exportable at any time, never sold or shared.
